"In November
of 2004, my father bought himself an early birthday present; a 2004
Pontiac GTO. He had always been a fan of muscle cars and raised me
to appreciate them too. He loved the heck out of that car for 3
weeks and then, sadly and unexpectedly, he passed away at the young
age of 57. When my wife and flew home to Florida for the funeral,
my mother told me how much he enjoyed the GTO and how he couldn't
wait for me to come home on vacation so I could drive it. I decided
to keep the GTO and my wife and I drove it all the way back to
Philly from Pensacola. One day I will give it to my son but, for
now, I get to enjoy it!
Recently, the "Goat" was damaged in a flood caused by Hurricane
Irene. Water poured into the interior and was sucked up into the
engine, causing it to seize. I feared I may never see it again as
the towing company told me it was likely my insurance company would
consider it a total loss. Thankfully, this has not been the case!
I visited Plymouth Auto & Tire Center in the hopes of finding
someone who could appreciate how much this car means to me and would
be willing to save it. Everyone I dealt with, from Gale in customer
service, to the service managers Ken, Bill and Mike, and, last but
not least, Al and his father Al Sr., took the time to listen to me
and understand my situation. They all treated me and the car with
genuine care and respect. They even rolled the windows down every
day, when it was sunny, so the interior would dry out and not rot.
At night, before they went home, they locked it up safe and sound
with buckets of Damp-Rid in the floors to continue drying it out
overnight. When the insurance adjuster finally cleared them to do
the necessary engine work, they were able to get its heart beating
again and today my Dad's GTO runs like a bat out of... well, you
know the rest!
Being in the restaurant business, I know a thing or two about
customer service and genuine hospitality. I and my team always
strive to go above and beyond to "wow" our guests so they can have
the perfect night out. Sadly, it is rare that we receive the same
treatment. This was not the case with Plymouth Auto & Tire Center .
From beginning to end, I was treated like family even though none
of them had ever met me before all of this happened. Other auto

I started going here for the breakfast
sandwiches that left with the remodel. A coworker recommended I use
them for the my state inspection. My check engine light was on and
the service manager gave me the diagnosis of a long list of issues
along with a thorough explanation of each item. He provided a
proposal and then did the work on the proposal thoroughly. When the
check engine light came back on, he found a new set of codes. They
spent more hours on the vehicle then anticipated getting to the
bottom of the problem and only charged me for the parts because they
were honoring their original proposal. Never once did the service
manager get frustrated or try to charge me extra. I received
pleasant calls from them often with an update and they did
everything they said they would. A lot of companies could learn
customer service from these guys. They even dropped me off at work
one day.

Staff dropped what they were doing and fixed
it on the spot!
2 years ago or so I stopped in for the first time because I had a
problem with the trunk latch in my Mitsubishi. Two of the service
staff dropped what they were doing and fixed it on the spot - and
didn't charge me a thing. Shortly thereafter I took my car back for
a lube/oil job and have been a customer ever since - and have never
been dissatisfied with the service small or large. The service is
great as are the people.

Brake Flush no hose job!
Staff is cool, and attractive. That one guy is hot. Thought they
were a little high in price but I shopped them around. That's what a
brake flush costs at most places. So I'm glad they weren't taking
advantage of me because I'm a girl. Wish I could open a window in
the little waiting room. Just a thought. Thanks for explaining what
a brake flush is. That's was interesting kind of. by

Manager took the time to explain!
I was in yesterday for the first time. Really friendly staff. Place
is much cleaner than I was expecting. The manager took the time to
explain everything to me, which is good I'll be back for my next oil

Pleased to be with a fair and honest
mechanic that I can trust.
Hi, I used to use Plymouth Auto Repair years ago but switched to
dealers and Hometown Auto after moving and getting new cars. I had a
few experiences where I felt ripped off by the others and decided to
come back to Plymouth Auto as I remembered it to be an honest and
trustworthy place that provides convenient services. I am back now
and pleased to be with a fair and honest mechanic that I can trust.

Referred to this shop by a friend after complaining to her
how my dealer always rips me off; so I decided to give them a
try and I couldn't be happier. I was given a quote by the auto
dealer on Ridge who used to service my car and Plymouth Auto
Repair was almost half the price and they did it same day. They
were so nice and explained everything before doing the work. The
place is neat and clean. Free coffee and gave me a ride to work,
how can you beat it, lol. I buy all my gas there, now they are

Tried Plymouth Auto Repair after hearing my friend rave about
the service she was given when she had her car inspected. She
said they were very reasonable, provided transportation and
repaired the car same day. My experience was even better, Bill
provided me with a complete review of my car for free after I
told him how much noise the car was making when it started up.
Turned out it was a simple repair and I had my oil changed and
noise fixed for less than $50 and I was on my way in about an
hour. I thought for sure it was going to cost me hundreds. Its
nice to finally find a place thats honest and where they dont
try to take advantage of you for being a woman. I promised to
tell everyone about them and will go back to have my Honda
serviced. Got my husband Joe to bring in his car next week for
inspection, has to be good for a free coffee, lol! Never going

Auto Repair was so helpful. This is the first time I got my car
fixed and did not get taken advantage of. They were precise and
fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. They didn't try to
