Vehicle Exterior

  • Body & Chassis
  • Glass & Mirrors
  • Tires & Wheels
  • Wipers & Washer

Vehicle Systems

  • Brakes
  • Fuel & Exhaust
  • Lighting & Electrical
  • Steering & Suspension

Vehicle Interior

  • Defrosters
  • Horns & Warning Devices
  • Odometer & Speedometer

Emission Inspection

When registering or renewing a car or light duty truck, Pennsylvania requires the vehicle pass a DEQ check. This is to ensure that your vehicle and its catalytic converter are up to code, as well as reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The PennDOT Emission Inspection Regulations also require a visual check of emissions components to make sure they are present and tamper free.

Newly Purchased Vehicles

Recently purchased vehicles (new or used) need to display a valid certificate of inspection at the time of sale. However, if you purchased a vehicle without a valid inspection certificate, then you have 10 days to acquire one. Not to worry if your vehicle may need repairs. Plymouth Auto & Tire Center can take care of exhaust pipes, catalytic converters, and mufflers so your vehicle can pass the inspections.
